「壊れたパイプ」とはどういう意味ですか？
14.04から16.04にアップグレードしようとしていて、面白いメッセージが表示されました。現在、バージョン間で行き詰まっており、前後に移動できません。私が持っているのは、GUIのない端末コマンド機能だけです。これらは実行後の私の結果です（手書きで入力）：

これにより、apt-getエラーを取り除くことができます。
Sudo dpkg --force-all --purge texlive-latex-base-doc
