Ubuntu 14.04-logrotateは/ var / log / *を回転させません（rsyslog config）

Logrotateが/var/log/*の下で何も回転させない管理しているUbuntu 14.04サーバーがたくさんあります。 /etc/logrotate.d/rsyslogの他のエントリがログを適切にローテーションするので、/etc/logrotate.d/に問題があると想定します。

これらのサーバーはCHEFを使用して展開されます。ただし、レシピなどにlogrotateの機能変更を参照しているものはありません。 /etc/logrotate.dにはいくつかのスクリプトが追加されており、これらのスクリプトは期待どおりに毎日実行されます。 /etc/logrotate.dの下にあるスクリプトが別のスクリプトに影響を与える可能性はありますか（そうは思わないでしょう）。 Ubuntu 12.04ボックスで同じCHEFレシピを使用する同様のサーバーが構成されている場合、/var/log/*の下でログが回転しないというこの症状はありません。

/etc/logrotate.d/rsyslogに以下の変更を加えたUbuntu 14.04サーバーで同じ問題が発生し、解決されました

から：

/var/log/syslog

これに：

回転したrsyslogファイルごとに。 「/ usr/sbin/logrotate /etc/logrotate.conf」を使用して手動でlogrotateをトリガーし、ロガーでテストしました。

ファイルパターンから存在しないファイルを削除することで問題が解決することがわかりました。存在しないファイルを構成すると、既存のファイルは適切な間隔で考慮されましたが、元のファイルを移動するローテーションの部分は発生しませんでした。明らかに私が提案するバグ。
