Question

これは Xenialリポジトリにはリリースファイルがありませんに似ていますが、そこでの修正は機能しません。

Ubuntu 16.04の数日前のインストールでSudo apt-get updateを実行すると、次のエラーメッセージが返されます。

Sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/*を試しましたが、/etc/apt/sources/listはすでに52行目がコメントアウトされており、54行目は存在しません。（このフォーラムおよび他のフォーラムで見つけた両方のソリューション）。

/etc/apt/sources.listの下から3行目は間違っているようです：

deb http://archive.ubuntu.com xenial universe

その行がエラーの原因であると思うので、削除することをお勧めします。

これを行った後、パッケージキャッシュをクリーンアップする必要がある場合があります。実行するには、次のコマンドを実行します。

Sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/*

その後：

Sudo apt update

私の場合、問題は本当に馬鹿げていた。サーバーの外部からネットワークにアクセスできませんでした。それが私の問題だと気づくまでにかなり時間がかかりました;-)
