Bashインストーラーからcuda 10.0をインストールしようとしました。インストールを実行するときに、ドライバもインストールすることを選択しました。ただし、nvidia-smi
を実行すると、次のようになります。
NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.
次のようにして、すべてのドライバを完全にアンインストールしようとしました。
Sudo apt-get --purge -y remove 'cuda*'
Sudo apt-get --purge -y remove 'nvidia*'
次に、Sudo apt install nvidia-driver-440
を使用して新しいドライバーをインストールしようとしましたが、「NVIDIA-SMIは、NVIDIAドライバーと通信できなかったため、失敗しました。」というメッセージが表示され続けます。
