私の答えを参照してください こちら 。 nvidiaのxorg.confが原因です。削除すると問題が解決するようです。 GDM画面またはGNOME内でCtrl + Alt + F1を押した後、以下のコマンドを実行します。

Sudo mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.old
Sudo touch /etc/X11/xorg.conf
