現在、12個のRAID-Z1 vdevを持つZFSプールでスクラブを行っており、各vdevには12個のドライブがあります。各vdevはエンクロージャーに対応します。ハードウェアは、Dell PowerEdge 730xdで、2つのDell 12Gbps SAS(LSI SAS3008)コントローラ、および12台のDell MD1400エンクロージャ)を搭載しています。オペレーティングシステムはCentOS 7.6.1810です。
しばらくするとドライブがZFSでFAULTED
になり、続行するにはzpool clear
を実行する必要があるため、プールを正常にスクラブできませんでした。 FAULTED
になるドライブはランダムに見え、smartctl
はSMARTステータスは問題ないことを示しています。
唯一の共通点は、ドライブがFAULTED
とマークされる前に、エラーメッセージmpt3sas_scsih_issue_tm: timeout
がdmesg
に表示され、その後にコントローラーがリセットされ、大量のZEDエラーAMD読み取りエラーが続きます。
