vimの最初の列は黄色で強調表示され、消えません

私はユーザーvimrcを定義していません。OSはredhat 4.6であり、検索とエディターの最初の列の置換後は黄色で強調表示され、vimを閉じて開いてもそのままです。これは、システムに付属している/ etc/vimrcです。誰かがバグやそれをする理由を見ますか？
