css jsファイルのNginx 404

MACにcssおよびjsファイルをロードできません。それらのファイルに対して404を取得します。 Ubuntuのnginx.confで最後にrewrite ^/assets/([a-z\-]+)-([a-z0-9]+).(css|js) /assets/$1.$3;を追加するだけで機能します。

しかし、私がそれをosxのどこに配置したのかわかりません.Ubuntuのように書いたときに、構文エラーが発生するためです...
