Visual Studio TeamServicesビルドエージェントでNPMインストールを適切に実行するにはどうすればよいですか

Visual Studio Team Services（以前のVisual Studio Online）で自動ビルド用のNPMタスクを設定するのに問題があります。 2つの問題があります：

  1. キャッシュロックエラー（以下に表示）。
  2. それは痛々しいほど遅いです-ダースかそこらのパッケージのために45分以上。

--cache引数を追加しましたが、それは役に立たなかったようです。

NPMを再インストールすると、問題が解決しました。

npm install npm -g

具体的には、丸で囲んだタスクをビルドに追加しました。
