Macを使用している場合、テキストオブジェクトを使用してiVinci ExpressでSVGファイルを開くと、自動的にパスに変換されることがわかりました。 InkscapeでSVGを作成しましたが、たまたまTimes New Roman（標準のテキスト選択ツール）の大文字Tでした。 Android SVG libは代わりにRoboto Tを表示することができなかったので、iVinci Expressで開き、そこから保存し、自動的にパスに変換しました。ビューボックス（Androidはそれを必要とします）がすべて正常に描画されました。
