Fedora14のPython 2.6でMySQL-python-1.2.3をインストールしようとすると、次のエラーが発生します。

Fedora14にはデフォルトでPython 2.7が付属しており、Python 2.6で実行されるプロジェクトで作業しているため、Pythonを2.6から2.7に更新する立場にありません。

この問題を次の方法で解決しました

  1. MySQLdbフォルダをPython2.7のsite-packagesディレクトリからPython2.6にコピーします。

  2. また、Python2.7のsite-packagesディレクトリからPython2.6に次のファイルをコピーします。

    _mysql.so

    _mysql_exceptions.py

    _mysql_exceptions.pyc

    _mysql_exceptions.pyo
