いくつかの問題があります。

  1. PostgreSQLが実行されていません。 Sudo service postgresql status

  2. PostgresSQlがポート5432で実行されていません。Sudo netstat -nl | grep postgres

  3. ユーザー名、パスワード、データベース名など、dbに接続しようとして何か問題があります。それらがpostgresが接続するようにあなたに要求するものであり、それがアクセスしたいdb_nameであることを確認してください。

  4. Postgresのpostmaster.pidの問題。シャットダウンが不適切に行われたために発生する可能性があります。サーバーの起動を許可しないpid aliveを思い出させます。修正するには、次のことを行う必要があります。

     * rm /usr/local/var/postgres/postmaster.pid 
 * pg_resetxlog -f /usr/local/var/postgres

    この後、postgresのrunserverを作成すると、適切に実行されるはずです。
