Windowsではpython 3.8を使用しています。プロジェクト用に作成された仮想環境内にRtreeパッケージをインストールし、pipを使用してパッケージをインストールしました。

  1. 適切な.whlファイルをダウンロードpython version＆system from： https://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/#rtree

  2. プロジェクトの仮想環境がアクティブになっている状態で、手順1でダウンロードした.whlファイルへの適切なパスを指定してpip installを実行します。

pip install C:\Users\...\Rtree-0.9.4-cp38-cp38-win_AMD64.whl
  1. インストール後にインタプリタを再起動する必要がありました（JupyterLabを使用）
