Rootからgpgを実行した後、パーミッションが間違っている可能性があり、通常のユーザー「joey」として一部のファイルを変更することができません。

find ~/.gnupg -type d -exec Sudo chown joey:joey {} \; -exec chmod 700 {} \;
find ~/.gnupg -type f -exec Sudo chown joey:joey {} \; -exec chmod 600 {} \;

既存のキーを削除したくない場合は、これが役立ちます。
