_text_cmds_ のsedのさまざまなバージョンを調べても、多くの変更はありません。

  • _10.0.0_ 1998年秋からNetBSDを使用sed
  • _10.3.0_ 2002年秋からFreeBSD sedを使用しましたが、マニュアルページは変更せず、_-E_拡張正規表現と_-i_インプレース編集を追加しました。
  • _10.4.0_インプレース編集に関するいくつかの修正があり、2004年秋からマンページをFreeBSDマンページに変更しました。
  • _10.5.0_ 2005年秋からFreeBSD sedに更新され、_-l_行バッファリング出力とインプレース編集の改良/修正が追加されました。
