SSHで失敗したX11転送をトラブルシューティングする方法は？

myserverへのX11転送接続を確立しようとすると、次のエラーが発生します。

% ssh -X myserver xlogo

同じコマンドを使用して別のサーバーに接続すると、正常に動作します（つまり、xlogoウィンドウがポップアップ表示されます）ので、問題はmyserverにあると思われます（ローカル構成）。
